We do a lot of videos while reviewing products outdoors or at crowded trade shows. A high quality, yet compact shotgun mic will help improve the sound we record without slowing us down.

Upgrade our audio capture quality!
We've had iffy results from a cheap shotgun mic over the years. Upgrading to a higher quality Rode shotgun mic (https://amzn.to/308NJ4o) will improve the sound in our video reviews and interviews. This larger mic with a boom will give us flexibility in how the mic is used.

Industry events are fantastic sources of the latest product info and insightful interviews. We have to decline invitations to a variety of events each year or limit the number of writers we take to events due to the costs of travel and Lodging.
