Who is Hector? He is the author of 'Days of Wine and Cheese', the cult campus comedy. He has published numerous articles in various magazines, including New Criterion, Partisan Review, The Critic, The Australian's Review of Books, Spiked, The Skeptic, Conservative Woman, Comment Central, and Quadrant. He is a former academic who used to publish in tedious academic journals with ludicrous names like American Journal of Research Letters in Philosophical Transactions (New Series), Whatchamacallit Quarterly, and Gigarenzaheinz. Well, that sort of thing, anyway. He has also been a professional musician, and was the original creator of Skeptics in the Pub, now a worldwide phenomenon (it wasn't left-wing when he created it, honest). He was the host of the Guff Stream livestream/podcast, which people still beg him to resurrect.
