Scarborough Fair lead sheet

Attached to this email is a lead sheet with just the lyrics.

The lyrics are from the original recording of Scarborough Fair without Canticle thrown in like Simon and Garfunkel performs it. All you do to put in the words to Canticle is to sing the lyrics while playing Scarborough Fair. Easy, right? For some I guess.
I found a very nice live recording of Simon and Garfunkel singing with Andy Williams from 1968. Paul Simon is using the capo on the 6th fret instead of the 7th fret like they originally recorded it.
This just goes to show us that we can put the song in a place that will work best for the performers. We are not shackled to an original recording performance. We can tailor it for the performers and artists any way we want.
